I was a bit concerned once I read the reviews, but I did not experience any of the situations described here. The staff at the reception is very nice, I was not asked to leave a review for quicker checkin. The room is clean and simple, I saw no cockroaches, no dirt underneath the bed. The bathroom is clean and the room itself gets cleaned and set up everyday. The location indeed is not great and the area feels a bit dodgy but even as a solo traveler, I went to the 7/11 to get some stuff. The pictures do look better than the reality and from what I understand there is an old building and a new building. I got a room in the old one, but even that one, it is clean and comfortable. The building and the room look a bit dated but it is still a good value for money
We are staying the second time - pricing is really fair, we enjoyed the pool and the small but practical fitness accomodations. Last time we booked without breakfast, so I cant comment on that by now, but maybe I will add an update. The staff really deserves 5*, they where amazing and really helpfull on our first holiday in Thailand.

I had a wonderful stay at Romance Hotel Sukhumvit 97 during my trip to Bangkok. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The room was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was super comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly (very important in Bangkok weather!). Housekeeping did a great job every day. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. They always greeted me with a smile and assisted whenever I needed help. The location is also very convenient — close to BTS, easy to travel around the city, and nearby shops and local food. Overall, it was a peaceful, safe, and comfortable stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next Bangkok trip! Highly recommended
I really liked this place. Big rooms. Big Soft beds. Clean. Lil outdoor area. Good WiFi. Concrete walls in case you wanna get loud . Staff was courteous and considerate. Nice pool, gym was meh', big rooftop. Onsite washer n dryer. For the price this place was amazing. Location is not where all the crazy stuff takes place. Way more chill. Prostitutes don't follow you home at 3am. Right next to a 7/11. Also 3 blocks away is some of THE BEST street food I've ever had. Cheep. Delicious.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Thailand. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The room was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. I truly enjoyed my experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
Not the best location unless in my case I wanted something close to the Hockey Development Center. Clean room, amazing staff (even showed us around and pool) The pool is infinity with amazing view of city. The breakfast was not cheap but still worth the money I felt. A piano in the lobby made waiting for taxi go faster.
The room is clean and has everything you need. The price is reasonable. You get what you pay for. We stayed here for 3 nights. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to the BTS. It’s so convenient. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for reasonable price hotel and good service!
